- 1. Brijuni National Park
Brijuni is a must-see sight. The archipelago located on the south-western coast of Istria, near Pula, was frequented by European and international jet-setters. Brijuni Islands is the only national park in Istria, and with its 14 islands, occupying 736 hectares; it represents a unique play of nature, a place endowed with beautiful animal species, rare and rich flora. It is regarded as of the most beautiful archipelagos in the Mediterranean.

- 3. Špancirfest
Year after year more and more guests who wish to join this festivity of Varaždin's citizens in this, one might say so, traditional form of spending the leisure time - in slow strolls down the streets or, as locals popularly call it, špancir. For 10 days in a year Varaždin turns into a colourful street entertainment venue, a town of laughter and joy. Many performers, musicians, street-artists, actors and entertainers give their open-air performances and the entire city serves as a public space for the presentation of Croatian tradition. The stands are full of traditional crafts, artefacts, applied art products, food and beverages prepared by traditional customs, and various souvenirs. It is easy to get lost in Varaždin during Špancirfest. Sailing on the vast sea of imagination, your attention swiftly jumps from one event onto another and the time just passes by. You can walk all day long and at the end you will ask yourself why the bedtime has come so soon.

Giostra, a project for protection of intangible cultural heritage gathering a large number of Poree's citizens during the past two historic festivals was a motif for the establishment of the Giostra Friends Society Giostra at the Heritage Museum of Poreč. This is a history festival which will lure you in a time machine and send you back three hundred years into the past on the squares, races, promenades, the tables offering selected delicacies, to concerts and plays performed at original locations in the heart of Poreč.

- 7. Sinjska Alka
Alka in Sinj is a Croatian chivalric knight tournament. It is held every year in the first week of August in Sinj, to celebrate the victory over Turkish invaders on 14 August 1715. On that day 700 Croatian soldiers defended the town of Sinj from an attack by a Turkish army serasker Mehmed Pasha Eelia whose army consisted of 60,000 soldiers. On 15 November 2010 Sinjska Alka is included in the UNESCO's list of intangible world heritage in Europe. Pay a visit to Sinj and experience a part of old Croatian tradition

- 9. Medulin sandy beach
The most famous beach in Medulin is Bijeca which extends a kilometre along the coast. It is a sandy beach with a nice entrance in the sea, suitable for children and the elderly, while young people can enjoy in playing volleyball in the shallows. You can rent a deckchair and parasols and relax while the children playfully spend hours descending down the aquatic roller-coaster. You can spend the whole day in a pleasant shade of the trees just above the beach.

- 10. Beach Baevice
Beach Baevice is a popular beach in Split, awarded with a blue flag. It is sandy beach with some rocky areas, the sea is turquoise and the water purity is controlled. One of the most interesting beach events is a popular game of picigin, a favourite Split summer sport of but you can enjoy in other water sports. There are many bars, restaurants, ice cream parlours and pastry shops nearby where you can freshen up with a drink or ice cream. This is the main town beach and visited by a large number of swimmers that kept lifeguards, and made accessible to persons with disabilities.

- 11. Etnoland Dalmatia - Theme Park
Etnoland Dalmatia is the first theme park of this kind in the country that opened its doors to visitors in mid-May 2007. Located in central Dalmatia, only 10 minutes from the Krka National Park, particularly in a village of Pakovo Selo (15 km from Šibenik). The park occupies the area of 15 000 m2 with a capacity for 500 people. The visitors are given a unique chance to experience a real life of the Dalmatian hinterland in the past; to learn about the customs, traditions, way of life and social habits of this region, which altogether makes this venue rather unique.
