- 1. T-Mobile INmusic Festival
T-Mobile INmusic festival is the largest open-air festival in Croatia, held every year at Jarun's Croatian Youth Island in Zagreb. In 2008 and 2009, British daily papers The Times put INmusic on a list of top 20 European summer festivals. This year festival's line-up is stronger than ever, and the arrival of renowned musicians such as Jamiroquai, Cypress Hill, Arcade Fire and others has been confirmed. Do not miss being a part of one of the best open-air festivals in Europe.

- 2. Hartera Festival
When in 2005 a group of enthusiasts started Hartera Festival with the aim to raise awareness among the general public to use the space of an old paper mill for cultural and public amenities, a few could predict that Hartera would become one of the most famous Croatian music events. The festival has grown over the years, become increasingly serious, setting up higher and higher standards in the interior design, and maintaining in a familiar, relaxed and friendly relationship with the performers and the audience. The recognition came through a gradual increase of visitor from year to year, and the formal acknowledgement such as the award for best Croatian festival awarded Muzika.hr and being selected among the top 10 small festivals in Europe, according to Virtual Festivals website. A good enough reason to visit it this year.

- 3. Motovun Film Festival
The Motovun Film Festival is a must-see event while you are on a vacation. Motovun Film Fest is a five day film marathon where the movie projections run in a continuous series from 10 a.m. until 4 a.m. the following day, with screenings in open air and daily theatres. The festival selection includes approximately seventy titles from all over the world, from documentaries to feature films, from shorts to full length from guerrilla to expensive production. The only criterion for the selection is that a movie fits into the liberal festival atmosphere. This year the festival is held for the twelfth time.

- 5. Outlook Festival 2012
A leading reaggae, dubstep, drum & bass festival will be held on 1-4 September 2012, in Stinjan, a village near Pula. The location of this year's Outlook Fest is rather unique. The festival will be held at 19th century Punta Christo Fortress situated at a height of 45 meters, with a beautiful view of the Pula Bay. This spectacular space and ambience of the castle will take your breath away! This year at Outlook Festival there will be three stages: the stage with a highest capacity for as many as 2000 people, a medium one for 800 people and a small one for 300 people. During the day the visitors of the Outlook Festival can relax on the beach while the tireless ones can attend numerous beach and boat parties.
