Zlatni rat is probably the most popular beach of the Adriatic Sea, located in Bol on the south coast of the island of Brae. Its unusual shape and beauty made it one of the most famous symbols of Croatian tourism. This phenomenon is a gravel (cape), about a thousand feet long, which is washed by clean and clear sea. The beach is special because it changes shape and position, depending on the wind blowing. Bulged shape of the Zlatni rat just at the narrowest part of the Hvar Canal acts as a kind of a booster for all the NW, N and SW winds, which makes it an extremely attractive location for windsurfing. Zagreb Solar System is an artistic installation made in 2004 by artist Davor Preis. It is a metal model of the solar system with a central sculpture of Grounded Sun by Ivan Kožaria, located in Bogoviaeva Street in Zagreb. Distance and size of planets are determined proportionally to the size of the Kožaria's sun and are located at various places in Zagreb. Zagreb Solar System is a sort of adventure which will help you to get to know the various parts of Zagreb.
